Level 3

OCN London Electronic Note-taking to Support People with Disabilities

This course is accredited by London OCN and recognised for the purposes of registering with the Department for Education as an Electronic Notetaker for students in receipt of Disabled Students’ Allowance.

Summary

This Level 3 one-day course offers attendees the opportunity to:

  • discuss current practice with their peers

  • reflect on their own experience

  • learn new strategies and discuss how different environments affect their approach to electronic note taking.

 

The course focuses on supporting people who are blind or partially sighted and those who are deaf or hard of hearing and require the support of an Electronic Note Taker.

We cover key areas such as confidentiality, safeguarding, data protection, GDPR and signposting to enable attendees to ensure they are working within the boundaries of their role as an Electronic Notetaker.

Course Structure

We can deliver this course in-person at your location for a minimum of three and a maximum of ten delegates.
